Torquay Uniting Church

The Torquay Uniting Church is a Christian fellowship,

with a Church building at 27 Anderson St, Torquay.

The Minister is Rev Helen Robinson.

Sunday Worship

A service of worship takes place in the church at 9:30am each Sunday. Communion concludes the service on the first Sunday of each month. The church is part of the Surf Coast Uniting Church Parish, and occasionally a combined service of worship is held in one of the other churches of the Parish.

A choir of over 10 voices usually contributes an anthem during morning worship. Choir practice takes place at the church on Thursday evenings, and new voices are always welcome.

Church Activities

Several members of the Torquay congregation play an active role in a Social Justice Group which spans the four churches in the Surf Coast Parish. They meet every two months to discuss social issues of concern and plan for action to address identified injustices.

Other regular activities include

"Coffee and Kids" 9:30am to 11am each Thursday morning during term time. A friendly garhering for Mums and their young children.

An Afternoon Fellowship on the third Wednesday of each month;

A Knitting Group each Tuesday morning;

Sunday afternoon concerts, featuring choirs and musicians, in the church several times a year.
