Australian Securities and Investments Commission

Includes advice and information on personal finance, budgeting, investing, managing loans, retirement and superannuation. Warnings on scams, swindlers etc.

Better Health Channel

Health and medical information for consumers, from the Victorian Government.

Consumer Affairs Victoria

Information and education on the rights and responsibilities of businesses and consumers. Helps in resolving disputes. Includes information on starting, running and marketing a successful club.

Council of the Ageing (COTA) - Victoria

COTA works towards advancing the interests of all older people. Its activities include policy development, advocacy and a range of services for older people.

An internet portal for Australian seniors and retirees.

Melbourne PC Users Group

Provides it's over 11,000 members with services including an internet service, dial-up help, education and training.

Ombudsman Victoria

Enquires and investigates complaints concerning administrative actions taken by government departments, public statutory bodies and employees of municipalities. Also ensures that complaints concerning Police are properly investigated.
